Required Qualification: Applicants should have a Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/ institutions recognized by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science &Applications, Electronic Science etc are eligible. Candidates should appear in the subject of their post graduation only.
Candidates, who had appeared OR will be appearing at the qualifying Master’s degree examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed are also eligible to apply.
The Ph.D. degree holders whose Master’s level examination had been completed by 19th September can get relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks.

Age Limit:

For Junior Research Fellowship: Age of appliers should have maximum 28 years. 5 years relaxation is available in upper age limit OBC/ SC/ST/PWD categories and to women applicants.
Applicants, having research experience, limited to the period spent on research in the relevant/related subject of post graduation degree, subject to a maximum of 5 years, will be also admissible for relaxation.
There is no upper age limit for applying for eligibility for Assistant Professor.

CBSE UGC NET Fee: Candidates need to pay given below fee through Credit Card / Debit Card or through E-Challan generated during the online filling of the application form.
  • For General Category Candidates: Rs. 800/-
  • For Other Backward Classes Candidates: Rs. 400/-
  • For SC/ ST/ PH Category Candidates: Rs. 200/-
  • Through Credit card candidates are also required to pay 1.20% of the examination fee plus the service tax as applicable and through Debit Card 0.75% of examination fee plus the service tax as applicable.

Selection Mode: Candidates will be selected through Central Board Of Secondary Education National eligibility Test. Pattern of the examination will be as following below:
  • Subjects: Paper I will contain questions based on General Aptitude Questions while Paper II and Paper III will contain questions based on selected subject.
  • Medium of Exam: Exam questions will be asked in Hindi or English Language.
  • Type of Questions: Questions in all paper will objective type.
  • Marking Scheme: Candidates will get 2 marks for each correct answer and here is no negative marking

UGC National Eligibility Test Cut Off:

UGC NET Registration Overview:

Required Qualification: Applicant must have qualified Master Degree or equivalent in concerned specialty from any recognized University as per the position that the candidate is willing to apply.

About UGC NET:
The basic objective to conducts UGC NET exam is to determine suitability for college and university level lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship for Indian nationals in order to ascertain minimum standards for the entrants in the teaching profession and research.

University Grants Commission (UGC) published in two thousand thirteen that candidates who clear the National Eligibility Test successfully would be able for lucrative jobs in the public sector undertakings (PSUs). PSUs may utilize UGC-NET scores for the employment procedure of the Posts of executives in their associations in disciplines such as science (R&D), management, human resources, corporate communications, finance, etc. This step taken by the UGC would also growth the number of students taking the UGC-NET examination which has witnessed a gradual decline in recent years.

We are informing you Paper II of UGC NET Commerce comprises of 50 objectives type questions, including Multiple choice, Matching type, True/False, Assertion – Reasoning type. The question paper will carry 100 marks and Paper III is divided in 02 parts like as A and B. UGC NET Paper III (A) is going to ten10 short essay type questions carrying sixteen marks each, dear candidates, you are required to write answer of this paper within 300 words. No external choice will we offered, however, there will be 1 question with internal choice from each unit (i.e. 10 questions from 10 units; maximum marks 160.)

Paper III (B) of UGC NET is compulsory and paper will be comprised of 1 question from each of the Electives. Candidates need to attend only one question approximately eight hundred words for forty marks. This paper will carry two hundred marks.
